A PILLAR OF LIGHT

Week of Jun 1, 2026 — Coronel Bogado, Paraguay

Haupei! Happy Monday! Hope you guys are all doing well! This week was really good and flew by so fast! Here are a couple highlights!

  • The Lord led us to some really awesome new friends! It’s been super fun getting to know them and teaching them how the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bless their lives!
  • We have a really amazing family in our ward who is such a big help for missionary work! This week we were able to go prosyleting with their teenage daughters and it was so fun! The members are such a big blessing here!
  • Had the best Zone Conference with SO many amazing takeaways! Hermana Calderwood shared her conversion story which was super powerful. As a missionary you never know what seeds you are planting! There was a big focus on the Restoration which was super special! I am SO thankful for the Restored Gospel and all the blessings that come with it. And we learned so much about how to work in the Lord’s way… the importance of listening and teaching with Christ-like love and improving our prayers to recieve revelation from God! Super awesome spiritual boost for the week!

Hope you all have an amazing first week of June!!

Spiritual Thought

This month I’ve been really focusing on the Restoration and what it means for me personally. It has been amazing!! One of my most favorite youth album songs is “Pillar of Light” the chorus says,

“And when he prayed, A pillar of light rested on him. The windows of heaven were opened again. They called him by name. Chosen by God, he was part of a bigger plan. It all began with a pillar of light.”

That pillar of light has blessed my life so much. I have a testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ really did appear to Joseph Smith in that grove. And I know that God knows each of us by name. I know that God’s Power is on the earth again and because of that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is so much more than a place to worship God. No where else can we perform saving ordinances and make covenants with God so that we can live with Him and our families again. What a blessing it is that we have a living prophet today that recieves revelation from the Lord to guide His church. And what a big blessing it is to have additional knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon. I know without a doubt that by the power of God Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon.

I’m incredibly grateful to be living in this dispensation with the fullness of the Gospel and for the opportunity to share it with God’s children 🤍
