Week of Aug 17, 2026 — Coronel Bogado, Paraguay

Haupei! Happy Pday!! Hope you guys are all doing well! This week was super busy down here!! Here are a few of the highlights!!

• Amazing zone conference and interviews! We talked a lot about the doctrine of baptism and becoming a better disciple of Christ! Super awesome spiritual boost for the week!!
• President Calderwood called us Saturday night to tell us that he submitted a report to the area presidency for our group to become a branch!! Yay Coronel Bogado!!!
• Worked with Hermana Job for a little bit in Encarnación and had a blast!! Saw lots of little miracles as we were trying to find a social media reference!!
• The Elders had a baptism of their cute friend Cintia!! The Spirit was so sweet!!
• Saw lots of miracles in lessons this week!! One of my favorites was with our friend Nahoel! He had so many questions about what we talked about in zone conference! Definitely the hand of the Lord right there!!
• Another favorite lesson was with our friend Gustavo! The Spirit was so strong during the First Vision and it was one of those moments that reminded me just how much I love being a missionary!!

New Character Added: President Calderwood — He called Hermana McCoy and her companion Saturday night to tell them he submitted a report to the area presidency for their group to become a branch.

New Character Added: Hermana Job — A missionary Hermana McCoy worked with for a little bit in Encarnación.

New Character Added: Cintia — A friend of the Elders who was baptized this week.

New Character Added: Nahoel — A friend Hermana McCoy taught who had many questions about what was discussed in zone conference.

New Character Added: Gustavo — A friend Hermana McCoy taught, during whose lesson the Spirit was strong while discussing the First Vision.

Spiritual Thought

Today for zone pday we went up to this big Swiss ranch. There were lots of baby animals and lots of farmland full of fresh vegetables. The views were soo beautiful!! It reminded me of one of my most favorite hymns “For the Beauty of the Earth” which says:

“For the beauty of the earth, For the beauty of the skies, For the love which from our birth, Over and around us lies, Lord of all, to thee we raise, This our hymn of grateful praise, For the beauty of each hour, Of the day and of the night, Hill and vale, and tree and flow’r, Sun and moon, and stars of light”.

I’m so thankful to live on this beautiful earth and enjoy all the experiences life has to offer!! All the sunsets, all the starry skies, the rivers, everything… all evidence that there is a God who loves us so much!!
