Week of Sep 14, 2026 — La Floresta, Paraguay

Good Morning! Happy Pday! Hope you are all doing well! Things are good here in La Floresta! Here are a couple highlights from the week!

• Zone Conference! Such a great spiritual boost for the week! Learned a lot about how to become a better missionary and a more dedicated follower of Christ! And it was so fun to see all of my missionary friends!
• Lots of lessons with our sweet friend Oscar! He has such a big desire to learn more and it is amazing! He is progressing so well and is getting ready for his baptism this Sunday!!
• Super awesome Noche de Barrio with all the members! Played some basketball and volleyball and it was so much fun!! La Floresta is the best!
• We went to visit our friend Nilsa on Friday and we caught her just as she was leaving for the supermarket. The Lord was definitely in the timing! She looked at us and said “hermanas I’ve been thinking about baptism and I’m ready, why wait”. The Spirit was SO strong! It was so crazy!! It is so cool to see how the Lord prepares people!!
• Service project as a district!! We painted a family’s house and it was so awesome!
• Super awesome Sacrament meeting yesterday with a surprise visit from President and Hermana Calderwood!
• Last night we stopped at the church real quick to use the bathroom and fill up our waterbottles and they were having a young single adult activity. And I was able to see some friends from my Villa Elisa ward!! It was such a big tender mercy!

New Character Added: Oscar — A sweet friend investigating who has a big desire to learn more and is progressing well, getting ready for his baptism this Sunday.

New Character Added: Nilsa — A friend they visited who said she’s been thinking about baptism and is ready, why wait.

Spiritual Thought

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you; And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours. And he who recieveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more”.

These scriptures are SO good! Heavenly Father has lots in store for us, we just need to trust in Him! I love the part that says “be of good cheer, for I will lead you along”. Maybe everything doesn’t make sense right now but that is okay, it will eventually. And as we go forward in faith we can have the confidence that God will lead us along. He is in the details in our lives. And as we are grateful for the things in our lives, we will start to see God even more everyday until one day we return home to Him!!
