Good Morning!! Hope you are all doing amazing!! This past week was probably one of the best weeks of my whole mission!

- The baptism of Ricardo and Karen!! Seriously one of the best days ever! The Spirit was just so strong the whole time! The huge rainstorm cleared up Sunday morning and everyone was able to make it to church! Coming out of the water, both of them we just so happy and had huge smiles! Ricardo and Karen have just been the biggest miracle!! They were so prepared by the Lord to recieve missionaries!! I love them so much!!
- Had the best fast and testimony meeting yesterday!! The Spirit was so strong with everyone testifying of Jesus Christ! I love the Floresta ward!!
- Hit one year in Paraguay!! Time is flying by just way too fast! I love the Paraguayans so much and feel so thankful to be here!!
- President and Hermana Calderwood made a special appearance at the baptism and invited us over to their home for dinner! Hermana Calderwood made some super rico food and it was just so fun!! I am so grateful for them!

Spiritual Thought
These past couple days I’ve been thinking a lot about the General Conference talk by Elder Farnes titled “Divine Appointments”. He shared a story about when he was in the temple a little distraught. President Oaks listened to him and reacted with lots of compassion. Years later when Elder Farnes asked President Oaks about this experience, Oaks responded “But it’s what we do. Isn’t it?”
Later Elder Farnes said “Those words have stayed with me ever since. That is what we do. As covenant followers of Jesus Christ, we minister with compassion to whomever God places in our path. We do it because that’s what the Savior did. And we’ve made a covenant to follow Him”.
With the wedding and baptisms this weekend there was a lot to be done!! The ward members did SO much to help out! Our Relief Society President sewed a beautiful wedding dress, made cupcakes and set up the decorations in the church for the ceremony! She kept saying “this is what we do, we are sisters, right?”. The members are amazing here and exemplify what it means to be a Disciple of Christ. As we look for ways to serve we share the love of the Savior. And when we are in the service of our neighbors we are only in the service of our God!!
